Hi! I’m Rachael Doel — a filmmaker, director, and storyteller currently studying Film and Television Production at DePaul University, with a concentration in directing and a minor in sound design.

I was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri, where my passion for storytelling and filmmaking began at a young age. Whether I was behind a camera or piecing together sounds to bring a story to life, I’ve always been fascinated by the power of visual storytelling and its ability to connect people on a deeper level.

Now based in Chicago, I’m continuing to explore and grow as a filmmaker — focusing on creating meaningful, immersive stories through both image and sound. I’m especially drawn to projects that challenge perspectives, evoke emotion, and amplify underrepresented voices.
